CLASS of 2022·GRAD CONVOCATION
The Mulgrave School 2022 graduation identity uses overlapping numerals as the central motif to symbolize unity, transition, and collective achievement. A vibrant gradient palette of warm to cool tones conveys energy, diversity, and progression, while clean sans-serif typography ensures modernity and legibility. The system applies consistently across large-scale signage, print collateral, and editorial layouts through structured grids, balanced white space, and clear typographic hierarchy, maintaining readability while reinforcing brand cohesion. The result is a flexible, scalable visual identity that communicates celebration and forward momentum while aligning with Mulgrave’s international and progressive ethos.
MEET US IN THE MIDDLE · CAMPAIGN
The "Meet Us in the Middle" campaign was designed to support recruitment for Grades 6 to 9 at Mulgrave School by clearly communicating the value of its Middle School program. The design features real students on a bright blue background with playful line illustrations representing academics, arts, and extracurriculars to highlight student identity and exploration. A bold, clean typographic hierarchy emphasizes key messaging, while concise content outlines program benefits such as small class sizes, dedicated staff, and a focus on wellbeing. The campaign balances visual appeal and clarity, aiming to engage both students and parents while aligning with Mulgrave’s brand.

The 2021–2022 Mulgrave School yearbook was designed around the concept of journey and transition, visually represented by a paper plane that guides the reader through the book. The cover and internal spreads use a clean, cloud-filled sky motif with soft gradients that shift from day to sunset, symbolizing growth, movement, and new horizons. The paper plane’s flight path weaves across pages and section dividers, creating continuity and a sense of narrative progression. Holographic typography for the year "2022" adds a celebratory touch, while maintaining a modern, light aesthetic that reflects the optimism and creativity of the graduating class.

cypress magazine is mulgrave’s annual publication, released to the community at the completion of every school year.
Garden Party GALA
in early may 2022, more than 400 members of the Mulgrave community gathered for a for a garden party themed gala at the Fairmont Hotel vancouver. attendees were treated to incredible student performances, games, and raffles. Through the gala’s fundraising efforts, more than $550,000 was raised (an increase of 72% compared to the previous year). the proceeds of which go towards mulgrave’s scholarship programme, allowing continued support to deserving students who can now join the community without financial barriers.
athletic and PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE | MURALs + signage
These large-scale murals for Mulgrave School’s athletic and Performing Arts Centre were designed to energize the space and visually communicate the core values of the arts program: Explore, Create, Express, Perform, and the atheltics program: character, heart, confidence. The bold typography anchors the composition, while flowing musical staves and notes add rhythm and movement across the wall, symbolizing artistic progression and creative flow. The layered use of vibrant lines—yellow, blue, and teal—adds visual depth and references the school’s brand palette, unifying the message with its identity. the murals turn transitional hallways into a celebration of student success, creativity and performance.
